Our responsibilities and duties in God’s Kingdom- what will they be? Will you be qualified to perform them? Are you actively in the process of qualifying yourself now?
And what is our main purpose or responsibility in this present life?
Eccl 12:13 – Let us hear THE CONCLUSION of the whole matter: Fear God, AND KEEP his commandments: for THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN.
1 Cor 7:19 – Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, BUT OBEYING God’s commandments IS EVERYTHING.
And what is our most cherished and esteemed goal in this life?
No, it’s not riches and fame. It’s none other than to attain to and be a part of the BLESSED HOPE– The First Resurrection! This assures us eternal citizenship in God’s Kingdom.
What will be our responsibilities and duties in God’s Kingdom?
Rev 1:6 – and He made us KINGS and PRIESTS to His God and Father…
Rev 5:10 – and have made them KINGS and PRIESTS to our God; and they WILL REIGN on the earth.”
Rev 20:4 – And I SAW THRONES, AND THEY SAT ON THEM, and JUDGMENT was given to them
Rev 20:6 – BLESSED AND HOLY is he that has part in the first resurrection. Over these the second death has no power, but they shall be PRIESTS of God and of Christ, and SHALL REIGN with Him for a thousand years.
Rev 2:26 – And he who overcomes, and he who keeps My works until the end, to him I WILL GIVE AUTHORITY OVER THE NATIONS–
Rev 2:27 – ‘And he SHALL RULE THEM with a rod of iron…
1 Cor 6:3 – Do you not know that WE SHALL JUDGE the angels?
In God’s Kingdom, those found worthy to have a part in the First Resurrection, will be awarded with ROYALTY! They WILL BE KINGS, PRIESTS and JUDGES unto God! They will RULE AND REIGN with Christ!
The core of these esteemed positions is LAW! They revolve around it.
Yes! The very Law that is abhorred and shunned by professing Christianity today.
And by incorporating and putting into practice His Law in our daily lives, it is here, RIGHT NOW, on this earth and PRESENT LIFETIME, and with the help of The Holy Spirit, that we are perfecting the skills and acquiring the knowledge to function in these positions of ROYALTY AND LAW in God’s coming Kingdom.
Yes! It’s those who acknowledge and have not forsaken The Laws of Almighty God who will be highly suited and far more qualified in such matters in God’s coming Kingdom.
” …Anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.” (Matt 5:19 NLT)
Every Kingdom is Ruled, Judged, and Governed by a set standard of Law. God’s coming Kingdom will be no exception to this universal rule. His PERFECT and HOLY Law will be THE LAW OF THE LAND and will be immensely desired and widely sought after (Isaiah 2:3).
Let’s pray that we are found worthy and qualified in facing our responsibilities in God’s Kingdom.
